FORMER BUCKEYE EXPRESSES HIS LOVE FOR OHIO AND HIS PASSION TO GIVE BACK TO THE YOUTH
Braxton Miller one of the most loved and recognizable sports figures in the State of Ohio spent a few minutes talking with Streamline Media about the vision for his NON-profit youth platform "Charg1ing Elite" which was created by Braxton in 2011, inspired by the birth of his son and while recovering from an injury.
Miller who played at Ohio State from 2011-2015 and in the NFL from 2016-2019 where he was drafted in the 3rd round by the Houston Texans as a receiver.
Miller who retired from football in 2020 is still revered as one of greatest big play players in OSU history and still to this day is a Buckeye fan favorite, has a new mission.

The inspiration for Charg1ng Elite came from growing up in Ohio seeing the lack of influential platforms that brought identifiable figures back to the community to promote athletics and positive living. " Says Miller "

Braxton speaking on his vision and the future of Charg1ng Elite is to continue to grow the brand through quality high level events eventually expanding the brand to other sports and covering not only the great state of Ohio but the entire Mid-West.

Charg1ng Elite is a high-quality Prep football Camp that gives Central Ohio players an opportunity to learn and interact with current and former NFL Stars, while competing against some of the State's Top up and coming talent on one of the Nation's premiere campuses.
The 5th year of the annual CHARG1NG Camp will be held at the Woody Hayes Athletic Facility on July 17th from 3pm-10pm. The participants will get real-life experienced coaching from OSU football alums, NFL players and other professionals. Event Coaches will include players from OSU football and the NFL.

Having former players and teammates coming back to support means a lot. It just shows the brotherhood is authentic and real at Ohio State. ' says Miller" I see a lot of my teammates from when I played for Coach Tressel and Coach Meyer show support and its inspiring to me. 'We are one big family".
The camps, for kids grades K-6 and 7-12 were designed with the goal to give back to the youth and the community.
The camp is brought together by many people and will not be limited to just a ‘football camp.’ Each participant will be given Nike gear, Ethika Swag, a photo with Miller as well as dinner provided by my new restaurant 1pizza which opens in September.
