RUSSELL AND PERRY FUEL LADY RAIDERS PAST COFFMAN
WESTERVILLE, OHIO - Seniors Imarianah Russell and Mya Perry combined for 37 points as the Reynoldsburg Lady Raiders knocked off Dublin Coffman in a highly anticipated rematch from a year ago in which Coffman was victorious. Russell scored 21pts and perry 17 to lead the Lady Raiders to a 56-47 win at Westerville South HS before a capacity crowd.
Russell scored first five points of the game for the Raiders who Jumped out to a 10-3 lead in first quarter and maintained command of the game with tenacious defense and transition buckets which allowed Reynoldsburg to take a 32-21 lead into half time.
Coffman who fought like usual and used several runs and eventually closed the lead to within 4pts (43-39) in second half. But Reynoldsburg refused to be denied behind the DUO of Mya Perry and Imarianah Russel the Lady Raiders would never trail in this game and avenged last year's semifinals loss.
