WHITEHALL, OHIO - This past Sunday Streamline Media (OhioElitePrep.Com) hosted the 2nd annual Central Ohio Middle School All-Star weekend at Whitehall City Schools Rosemore Middle, which haled the area's top 7th and 8th grade Boys & Girls Basketball players.
2022 CENTRAL OHIO GIRLS ALL STAR GAME

This year's event had a special new twist with Senior High school standouts serving as honorary coaches. Reynoldsburg's Amarianah Russell (WVU Commit) and Mya Perry (OSU Commit) faced off coaching the Girls game alongside Chauncey Cumberlander (Cols, Walnut Ridge) and Lorrie Poindexter (Harvest Prep) which was filled with excitement and boasted some of Ohio's premier girls and they are as good as advertised.
The girl's game had players from Central Ohio and surrounding areas and in some's opinion was the most entertaining game of the day with an array of shooting, at points in the game resembled a heavy weight boxing match going blow for blow.
There were several outstanding players who made big impacts but none more than 2026 Olentangy Shanahan point guard Whitney Stafford who led all players in scoring and assist and was named 2022 MVP.

Stafford is an exceptional talent that is already receiving attention from some big-time colleges' and is a fun player to watch, she has an amazing skillset and IQ to match along with a deadly stroke from the outside. Another player that wowed OEP staff was Sydney Mobley (Olentangy Shananan) has a great feel for the game, she rebounds, defends and finishes like a seasoned vet and can put the ball on the floor and will be a problem at the next level.
Haeden Hull (Gahanna East) is another player who showed big time ability, hull is a shifty guard that has a elite handle and can create her shot as well as distribute the peel.
Maliyah Lofton and Israelle Smith both from Harvest Prep both are players to know, the backcourt duo plays both ends of the court and can do it all.
